On the day of your appointment please minimize makeup and coverup so your oculoplastic surgeon,  Dr Thiagarajah can evaluate your face properly. The injections take approximately 10-15 minutes to perform. For 20 minutes after administration you will have small bumps on the skin from the injected Botox. These go away as the Botox is absorbed over 20 minutes.. Also, it is important to not rub the face or shot location as the medication can be shifted to other locations on the face such as the eyelid and cause a drooping eyelid or double vision.
